The Overlooked Tracks podcast is back on the road and this time we are exploring the land where the beat, rhythm and style of music began, The continent of Africa.  I need to get this out of the way now and apologize for the long absence because there were so many tracks to choose resulting in one the hardest podcast episode we’ve done at this point.  It was overwhelming on choosing songs for the podcast because there’s tons of music that’s connected with each country in Africa and it kicked my ass a bit on choosing them.

What’s up everyone and welcome to the Chill Laundry Lounge where you can wash your worries away and listen to some chill music and just simply lounge.  Decided to do the podcast in the neighborhood Laundry Mat and get some clothes washed and again to wash my worries away so I can chill, focus on my mental state or meet new people or old friends.  The Chill laundry Lounge can be a good place to listen to the machines wash clothes and in a way a form of meditation. This time, we invite you to listen to the sounds of you and me and we and us.  

It is time to get back on the magical music and explores more jewels in music with part 2 of the Asian Excursion – also called Episode #21 of the Overlooked Tracks podcast.  My name is Kenny Chiba and I had to reorganize the arrangement of this podcast because to tell it truthfully, it was overwhelming to get all types of music from the Asian Continent between episodes 20 and 21.

Music is the source of expression, the source of both mental and physical power and most of all to sooth the soul of the beauty and the beast.  In other words, Music should be simply shared throughout our lives to live the best lives we can.

As we are on the Overlooked Tracks Music Bus traveling to several destinations of The Philippines, Singapore, India and the Russian Federation and my goodness this has been a ride to journey on because there is music all over the place, an adventure to both listen to traditional and modern type of music.  Yes, it has been difficult to pick, which is what makes the trip even more pleasurable to take – to seek, explore and discover sounds from the Music Universe, which indeed is a very BIG place and again simply to live the best life with music as much as possible with the many MANY SOUNDS, RHYTHMS AND BEATS.

We are back on the road to our next destination and these set of tracks for episode #19 can be described by one word – MOTIVATION.  Tracks 1 and 2 are for the motivation of love, togetherness, and staying focused on each other during moments in life. Track 3 is simply telling you to keeping it real and stop standing still when you got to live and it’s all a big game but the difference is how you play the field!! In others words – GET OFF YOUR ASS AND LIVE YOU AND LIVE THE BEST OF YOU!!

For this chapter of the Overlooked Tracks podcast, we packed up again on the Overlooked Tracks Music Bus and fly (yes the bus can fly – Never seen a flying bus before?) to the country of Korea to find some gold  (besides K-POP music, which everyone in the world knows something about the sensation of K-POP).  Naw Man, Overlooked Tracks is in the search of hidden gold from other Korea artists providing sounds for the soul and not just for the fame and revenue.
But first, wanted to display some artists you need to listen to and recognize of the music art these artists bring to the music universe.  Two of them I wanted to play for a while now and now is the opportunity, and one is a returning artist from the first season and she is rocking it with a new release.  Let’s get started before I started one of my habits again – Talking too much from the excitement with these Overlooked Tracks artists!!

As we finished the first season of Overlooked Tracks, we start this path of music searching in the country of Japan – Hopefully the next host of the Olympic Games in Tokyo.  Due to Corona-Virus that stopped time pretty much everything in 2020, let’s send a couple of prayers to the Olympic Gods to hold the games this 2021 year.  When that happens, the place will go ABSOLUTELY CRAZY!!

What’s up everyone and welcome once again to part 2 of the Australian Expedition of the Overlooked Tracks podcast, where we find sounds you may have overlooked in the music universe.
